GETTING RID OF FAKE FOODS 

Week 1

To start reducing inflammation, we eliminate Ultra Processed Foods from our diet. These are the foods in packets that have added preservatives, flavours, colouring and emulsifiers. 

We spend time this week doing a pantry clean out, and starting to learn how to read the ingredients lists on food packets. 

ELIMINATING THE MOST COMMON PRO-INFLAMMATORY FOODS

Weeks 2-4

Gluten, Cow's Dairy, Sugar and Alcohol are commonly pro-inflammatory for many people. This is not for everyone, but it's common for women 40+ to have inflammatory responses to these foods. 

We take these out for a few weeks to keep focusing on reducing the inflammatory load. Expect more energy, clearer skin and weight loss.

FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE DETOX

Weeks 5-10

To pull the inflammatory load right down, we follow a functional medicine detox for 3-6 weeks. We have 12 different pathways to follow so the detox is tailored specifically to you and your needs. 

Inflammation levels are so low that the weight falls off, and energy is next level! 

REINTRODUCTION

Weeks 11-12 (and Week 13-17 of our Continuation Program)

This is where the magic happens. We reintroduce foods back in one at at time, and following our very clear system, you will learn what foods cause you an inflammatory reaction or not. 

From there, you will find what foods are your always foods, sometimes foods, special occasion foods, and (rarely) never foods.

LONG TERM STRATEGY

Once you know what foods cause you inflammation, and how much, you can make empowered choices around the foods you eat. You know how to listen to your body, and the messages it is giving you to make decisions for your long term health.

I bring over 25 years of experience as an Osteopath, Naturopath, and Nutritionist, combined with a 14-year career as a professional dancer. I’ve coached thousands of women through midlife transitions, and I’ve walked the path myself - through burnout, IVF, perimenopause, and rebuilding my own health. This unique mix of clinical expertise and lived experience shapes the Whole Health Solution.

My colleague, Dr Shari Trimble (pictured) assists me in the program. We met at university back in 1995. Shari is also an Osteopath and Functional Medicine Practitioner, with over 25 years of clinical experience also.
