Both photos were taken at Belinda's daughter's birthday party. The one on the left was 12 months prior, and the one on the right was on Week 7 of my 12 Week Program.Â
Belinda is a busy mum of one young daughter. She teaches Pilates and before the program was often sacrificing healthy choices for quick options that she could grab and run.Â
Belinda wrote me a text message on about Week 8 of my program saying 'every woman in the world needs to do this program". It was so special to me to receive that message, as it just shows what a massive impact my program was having for her. I've seen the same impact happen over and over again for women who I work with.Â
Belinda kindly shared further details with me that she was happy for me to share with you... In Belinda's words....
"Before I started the program...
Â
I was overweight, waking up tired, experiencing joint pain, nausea, headaches, fatigue. Things I had been to a integrative doctor for which he couldn’t figure out what was going on.
My body was big and I felt self conscious. As a result I held myself differently to try and cover my puffy belly.
I was not eating well because I kept telling myself I didn’t have time. I didn’t make time and I just didn’t prioritise it anymore. I always hungry though and I craved sugary milk chocolate every single day. And lots of it. Every day without fail. It’s embarrassing how much I ate. I have always been a fit, active and healthy individual until I had my child. I experienced PNA and PND. I told myself if I had a hard day then I “deserved” chocolate.
Because of all of this I was in this constant daily pattern, not a good one, and my mindset wasn’t good. I deserve chocolate because I am stressed or had a bad day etc
I was 13kg heavier than I had ever been. I was asked numerous times over the last 2 years when was I due?! I looked 6 months pregnant sometimes
Just because I am a Mum does not mean I have to put myself last, and I was. I am important too.
Just because I am a Mum does not mean I have to feel tired. Constantly. And I was.
Just because I am over 40 does not mean “everything slows down” and that I need to put on weight due to peri menopause. This does not have to happen!
I was constantly getting viruses. Was hospitalised with tonsillitis, always getting respiratory viruses and they would knock me out. I was always congested.
I was experiencing brain fog like never before. I would misplace my keys and purse almost every day. Always losing things.
To top it off I suspected I was early stages peri as my period became erratic. It was either late by a week or 2 and sometimes a week or 2 early. Extremely heavy. Heavier than it’s ever been. I wanted to arm myself with knowledge for this next phase of my life. This is when I decided I need to make changes. I want to feel fit and healthy again, I want to lose weight, I want to avoid viruses, I want to be around for my daughter and be able to do what she needs me to, I want to feel amazing!
Since the program...
Firstly this program has absolutely changed my life. I get quite emotional at the positive changes I have made. I achieved what I wanted and more.
At the start of the program Andrea said “trust the process. Trust me. This program has been 6 years in the making. Don’t cherry pick bits of the program, do it all.” I thought great! I am just going to do what Andrea says and follow everything because that was so easy to do. That way I don’t need to think too much!
I started with her 3 week Christmas challenge and lost 3 kilos! I was so impressed by this I just couldn’t wait to start her 12 week program.
I have lost 12 kg! More than I expected and was hoping. When I told Andrea I would lost 10kg she told me I would lose more, and I did!
I have regained so much energy, even with a child!
I am no longer bloated with a tight uncomfortable painful stomach which I had almost every day
I feel happy!
I feel motivated!
When I get a virus, it goes very quickly
My joint pain is gone
My headaches are gone
I prioritise my health and food prepping and it’s so easy when I plan! And when I don’t, I remember why I now plan!
My periods are lighter
I have less brain fog. I feel so much clearer and sharper
People are constantly telling me how good I look!
I am so excited to continue working with Andrea on 1:1 basis for my future health needs.
Since starting the program I have learned what works for me and what doesn't. How and when to eat and what to eat have made significant changes for me".
